Who is "they" - the Democrats?
I don't think Sen. Lee is all that popular in the LaG, but that's just my impression. The only contact I had with him was him telling me (via a third party) that he agreed with me (anti-confederate) on the flag thing a few years back, and he voted with Roy on it, and then I think also supported Sonny's position later, the referendum. Ear to the ground, finger in the wind.
