Hm, in a way it may be a curse in disguise. There's really no excuse for the defense being so horrid through those seven games (last time I checked, Vick only played offense.) So, really, head coach or defensive coordinator needs to go. If they 'salvage the season' they'll be salvaging their jobs, which could be bad for the Falcons long-term.
