Comments: No Child Left Behind
Question, not entirely on topic: what is your objection to parents being able to choose the school that their child attends, regardless of this or that school's credentials? Isn't greater school choice, on the whole, a good thing for kids?

My objection is based on a belief that schools should be funded equally regardless of home property values. Then, theoretically, school choice wouldn't be that big of an issue because every school would be more or less the same.
My opposition to vouchers is that the government already provides a public education system and shouldn't be paying for a second one.
Under the current system, why should anyone move to a nice (and more expensive) neighborhood if they can just send their kids wherever they want?
