Comments: Conference Committees

It kills me. As someone who works in the health-insurance industry, I have yet to see proof that caps lower malpractice premiums OR more importantly, incidences of malpractice. The fact is, no Doctor's rates or patient's insurance premiums are going to be lowered as a result of any legislation. Companies will continue to lay off workers and raise premiums in order to keep stock prices up for shareholders. It's a great capitalist scheme. It's shady, and needs to be taken ovah.
