Comments: Drop Out?

I like your blog Chris, you have some great insight sometimes, and a wonderful linear writing style, but hey, you've been punk'd right along with everyone else on this issue.

Why shouldn't candidates stay in till the bitter end? The nominating convention is in July, that leaves a three month period for everybody to kiss and makeup before the November election date.

If the problem is a wounded candidate emerging from that convention due to harsh campaigning, I say, hold on - isn't that supposed to be the purpose of the primary season?

For a complete response you'll find a long one here on the dKos.

Call me crazy, but I'd like there to be an option for anti-war voters in California and New York. Having it down to 2 guys who voted for 90% of the Bush agenda is a bad joke for me.
